Get your Veeqo Scanner up and running

Setting up your Veeqo Scanner

Let's start the process of getting your Veeqo Scanner up and running!

Note: The Veeqo app will already be pre-installed for you. Time zones will be preset as GMT (UK) and PST (US)

Keeping your Veeqo Scanner up to date:

EmKit will be used to automatically receive pushed updates for your device.
These updates include The Veeqo Scanner application. It’s important that this is not deleted and remains on your device.

Turn The Veeqo Scanner On/Off

Turn On

1. Press and hold the “Power Key” for a few seconds.
2. When The Veeqo Scanner enters the boot mode, it will display the “SMART BEYOND RUGGED” logo
3. Release the “Power Key” and wait until The Veeqo Scanner finishes booting

Note: If you cannot turn on your Veeqo Scanner, try below steps -

  1. To turn on The Veeqo Scanner, the battery needs to be charged certain level. Please charge first.

  2. Press and hold the “Power key” for over 8 seconds to force the scanner to reboot

Turn Off

  1. Press and hold the “Power Key” until you see the power menu

  2. Touch “Power Off”

How to connect to Wi-Fi:

  1. Swipe up (you should see all the applications installed).

  2. Go to Settings

  3. Click Network and internet

  4. Select the Wireless Network you want to connect to.

  5. Enter the password and click Connect.

How to set your local time:

  1. Swipe up (you should see all the applications installed).

  2. Scroll to Settings

  3. Click System

  4. Select Date & Time.

  5. Toggle off the "Use network-provided time" setting and select your preferred Time zone or you can keep the timezone that has been already set.

Log into Veeqo

Tap the Veeqo app icon at the bottom of the screen and use your Veeqo log in credentials to sign in.

Charging the device:

Included in your shipment will be a cable which you can use to charge your Veeqo Scanner. At the side of the Veeqo Scanner will be a USB-C connection, please plug the cable to your desktop / laptop to start charging the device.

Lock/Unlock screen

To lock the screen, press the Power key once.

To unlock the screen, press the Power key once to wake up the device.
Drag the LOCK icon at bottom of the screen upwards to unlock the device.

Recent Apps key - Press to see recently used apps.

Home key - From any apps or screens, press to return to the Home screen.

Back key - Press to go back to the previous screen or to close a dialog box, options menu, notification panel, etc.

You’re now set up!

Once you are up and running, you can start to explore the other features:

Search for any product to edit stock, set a bin location or scan in a barcode.

Check your order status on the go or try our standard picking.

​Scan your purchase orders in as they arrive.

Before you start your first digital picking batch, we recommend to go over our Digital Picking Overview to make sure you have everything set ready to go!
