Set up your Picking Preferences

The first time you go to pick, you’ll be shown our Picking Onboarding Wizard. First you'll need to choose if you want to Pick With Your Mobile Device or Printed Paper. These options will suit different sellers with different workflows.

To use the picking on boarding wizard, follow these steps:

  1. Tick the check box to the left of the orders you would like to add to your batch.

  2. Click Actions > Pick.

  3. If the order is already marked as picked or partially picked you will get a pop- up letting you know that this will not be added to the batch. Click exclude orders and continue.

  4. If you have used this feature before you will be given the option to pick with saved preferences. If not, you will need to set up your preferences

  5. Select if you would like to Pick with your mobile device (if you have Power Features enabled) or use Printed Paper

Picking with Your Mobile Device

If you selected Pick with your mobile device the next screen will ask you to set up your pick list.

You can choose the Location you’re picking at as well as if you’d like to enable picking totes.

Note: Any orders added to the batch which is not assigned to the location you have chosen while setting up will be excluded from the batch.

Enabling picking totes allows you the collection of picked items to a container as a pick list is completed. Each tote has a unique barcode so Veeqo can identify a container and its contents, this makes it easy for your warehouse staff to scan while picking and packing.

Note: Setting picking totes up is an optional part of setting up your pick list and isn’t required to use mobile device picking

If you’ve opted to enable picking totes, the wizard will also ask you:

  1. how many picking totes you’d like to use

Note: Adjusting this number will un-assign all totes from any open batches.

2. To print your tote labels via the handy button

3. If you’d like to pick to a single tote which is best for single line item orders
OR multi-tote which will use one picking tote per order within the picking batch.

Once you’ve set up or skipped the picking totes option, the wizard will ask how you’d like to assign your picking batches. The default setting auto-assigns the batch to the next available picker but you can also assign to a specific picker and select a Veeqo user for the specific batch.
