How to Connect BigCommerce

To connect BigCommerce, check out this guide.

How does the integration work

  • Every 10 minutes, new orders will download from BigCommerce to Veeqo

  • When you ship an order in Veeqo, BigCommerce is updated with the details. This includes the fulfillment status, any tracking numbers along with an email confirmation sent to your customer

  • Every 10 minutes, Veeqo checks for new products in BigCommerce to be downloaded

  • Stock will be downloaded from BigCommerce during the first sync. After that, stock will be updated as orders are processed but any manual edits made to BigCommerce stock will need to also be made in Veeqo. Veeqo cannot pull stock from BigCommerce

IMPORTANT: Veeqo can be made master of stock and push stock changes to BigCommerce. To do this, please contact support

Channel Settings Options

You can customise the way data is synced for your channel using a set of preset options in the channel settings, including how taxes are calculated. To do this:

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Click on Marketplace and Ecommerce Integrations

  3. Click "Settings" next to your channel

  4. Select edit and “show advanced settings”

  5. Edit the sections as desired

These settings can be toggled on or off from this page. Below are the options that you will see in your channel settings:

  1. How Listings are Synced

    • If the product has the same NAME then link them?

    • Search for a similar listing with the same SKU amongst listings from other stores and link to the product it's linked?

    • Let multiple listings from this store be linked to the same Veeqo product?

  2. How Products are Synced

    • When a product is updated on my store, sync the changes to my Veeqo products?

    • Veeqo is master of price?

  3. How Orders are Synced

    • When an order is shipped or cancelled in Veeqo, update my store and mark the order as 'shipped' or 'cancelled'?

    • Allow sending my customer a shipping confirmation email when an order is shipped via Veeqo?

    • Send shipping confirmation email and/or update the store to mark the order as shipped:

      • When shipping label is created

      • At a specific time on the ship date [set time]

  4. Advanced (Optional): How Stock Quantity Should be Synced

    • Here you can set a default location, or add multiple locations as a list in order which you want Veeqo to allocate stock. For more information, please refer to this guide.

Other BigCommerce Features

BigCommerce Backorders

Veeqo will allow you to accept pre-orders (also known as backorders) from BigCommerce for products that you currently have no physical stock for in your location. That means your real stock of 0 is set correctly in Veeqo, but the item will still be available for purchase on your BigCommerce.

Your pre-orders will come into Veeqo as Waiting For Stock and therefore sit separately from your Ready To Ship orders.

Important: Veeqo must be Master of Inventory for the above process to work. If Veeqo is not Master of Stock then all orders will be assumed Ready to Ship

To enable backorders:

  1. Log into your BigCommerce Admin

  2. Go to your Products page on BigCommerce Admin

  3. Under the Inventory section, make sure that the Track Inventory option is checkbox is unchecked

  4. Click on Save

Enabling Inventory Tracking

If you want to make Veeqo master of stock, you will need to enable inventory tracking in BigCommerce. To do this:

  1. From your BigCommerce admin, go to Products > View

  2. Tick the check box for all products

  3. Select Bulk Edit from the Actions menu

  4. Click Confirm

  5. Under the Track Inventory column, select the value Variant level for your products with options or Product level for your simple products

  6. Click Save.
