Getting Started
Use the below checklist to get started with your scanner!
Turning the scanner on and off

To turn the scanner on:
Press and hold the “Power Key” for a few seconds.
When scanner enters the boot mode, it will display the “SMART BEYOND RUGGED” logo
Release the “Power Key” and wait until the scanner finishes booting
NOTE: the battery needs to be charged to a certain level to turn the scanner on. If it does not turn on, please charge it then press and hold the power button for 8 seconds to force a reboot.
To turn the scanner off:
Press and hold the “Power Key” until you see the power menu
Touch “Power Off”
Connect to WiFi
Connect to WiFi
Swipe up (you should see all the applications installed).
Go to Settings
Click Network and internet
Select the Wireless Network you want to connect to.
Enter the password and click Connect.
Set your local time

Swipe up (you should see all the applications installed).
Scroll to Settings
Click System
Select Date & Time.
Toggle off the "Use network-provided time" setting and select your preferred Time zone or you can keep the timezone that has been already set.
Login to Veeqo on the scanner

Tap the Veeqo app icon at the bottom of the screen
Use your Veeqo log in credentials to sign in.
Charging the device
Charging the device
Included in your shipment will be a cable which you can use to charge your Veeqo Scanner. At the side of the Veeqo Scanner will be a USB-C connection, please plug the cable to your desktop / laptop to start charging the device.
Lock/unlock the screen

To lock the screen, press the Power key once.
To unlock the screen, press the Power key once to wake up the device.
Drag the LOCK icon at bottom of the screen upwards to unlock the device.

Recent: this will open your recent apps
Home: this will take you back to the home screen
Back: this will take you back to the previous screen, close a dialogue box, or close any menus you have open
