Add Barcodes To Products

To get the most out of Veeqo we recommend using barcodes on your products. This will allow you to scan products when using the Stock Take, Booking In and the Picking List features.

If you need to add barcodes to your products in bulk, we recommend doing this with a Product CSV Import by entering the numbers of the barcode into the column upc_code.

Manually add barcodes to your products

  1. Go to the Inventory page

  2. Click into the product you would like to add a barcode to.

  3. Click edit on the product details window

  4. You can add or edit your barcode under advanced details

  5. Click save to confirm your changes

Troubleshooting

If you notice barcodes aren't scanning, you can check:

  • Is the barcode in an unusual format, e.g. 6.54655E+16?

    This can occur during product import. Excel may change the format of a cell when there is a long string of digits. You will need to correct the barcode in Veeqo

  • Does the product have a barcode?

  • Is the barcode correct?

    If you have "pull product updates" enabled in your channel settings, we may pull a barcode that is entered on the listing into Veeqo. To prevent this, go to channel settings and disable "pull product updates".
