Shipping in Veeqo (UK)

Before You Start

Before you start shipping in Veeqo, checkout our Getting Started guide and make sure you have:

  • Connected a channel.

  • Added a payment method.

  • Connected your own carrier accounts (optional). You can either use your own pre-negotiated rates, or Amazon Buy Shipping rates through Veeqo.

Ready? Let's get shipping!

How it Works

When you ship an order in Veeqo, the following will happen:

  • The order status in Veeqo will change to Shipped.

  • A shipping label will be created for you to print.

  • Your remote store order will be marked as shipped.

  • The customer will get a email to confirm the shipment and tracking details.

IMPORTANT: Labels bought with Veeqo's rates will be charged to your Seller Central balance. Own account labels will be charged to your carrier account.

NOTE: Your remote store order will be marked as shipped and the customer will get a email to confirm the shipment and tracking details depending on your default store settings. Check out our Channels guides for more information on updating these settings. We will only update your store status and send the customer email when the above options are enabled. Any new orders that you fulfil will have these actions applied.

Setting Package Weights and Dimensions per Order

To set package weights and dimensions:

  1. Go to the orders page.

  2. Find the order you would like to ship.

  3. Locate the column titled "Package" on the orders table.

  4. Click the dropdown next to the package dimensions.

  5. Enter the weight of the package. Always round up to avoid unexpected carrier adjustments.

  6. Choose from one of the carrier presets, or click "enter dimensions" to customize. If you enter custom dimensions, select "Save package for future use" to be able to save this as a custom preset.

  7. Select "use for similar shipments" so Veeqo will apply the same dimensions and weight to future packages that contain the same line items (recommended).

  8. Click "Apply".

  9. The shipping rates will adjust based on the new weight and dimensions.

NOTE: By default the Admin, Picker/Packer, and Warehouse Manager roles have "Save Packages and Weights" permissions enabled.

Ship a Single Order

IMPORTANT:

  • We allow the selection of shipping methods for Amazon orders that don’t meet Amazon’s delivery promise. Orders that are shipped using out-of-promise ship methods will not be covered by Buy Shipping protection.

  • Rates expire after 30 minutes. If you are on the orders page for more that 30 minutes before buying your labels, please refresh the page.

To ship a single order:

  1. Go to the orders page.

  2. Find the order you want to ship and check the weights and dimensions are correct.

  3. View the rate card under the "Shipping Rates" column in the orders table.

  4. If you want to change the rate, click the dropdown and select another rate.

  5. Set the desired confirmation and click "apply".

  6. Go to the "Actions" column on the right side of the orders table and click "Buy Label".

  7. Congratulations! You've just shipped your first order in Veeqo! We will not save the rate charged on the order. To view the cost of the label after purchase you can check out the shipping report.

NOTE: If you have configured your printers in Veeqo, the label will print automatically at the time of purchase. Otherwise, it will open as a PDF document in a new tab on your browser. For more information, checkout this guide.

Ship Orders in Bulk

You can bulk buy and print labels for up to 100 orders from the orders page. To do this follow these steps:

  1. Go to the orders page.

  2. Select all the orders you want to ship by selecting the square checkbox on the left hand side. You can do this per order or select the checkbox at the top of the table to select all orders on the page.

  3. Check that the weights and dimensions are correct for the packages. If all the orders selected require the same weight and dimensions, you can select "edit packages" at the top of the orders table and edit them in bulk.

  4. Bulk shipping will use the rates depicted on the orders by default. If you want to use the same service for all orders selected, click "edit services" at the top of the orders table and select the service you want to use and click "Apply"

  5. Click "Buy X labels", where X is the number of packages you have selected. You will see a summary modal, showing the total cost of the labels, total Veeqo Credits earned, and the count and cost for labels for each shipping service used.

Mark Orders as Shipped (without purchasing a label)

You can mark an order as shipped without printing a label in Veeqo by following these steps:

  1. Go to the orders page and find the order you want to mark as shipped.

  2. Click the dropdown next to "buy label" on the right hand side of the orders table.

  3. Select "Mark package as shipped".

  4. A modal will open. You have the option to select a carrier and upload a tracking number if you have shipped the order elsewhere, but this is optional.

  5. Click "Mark as shipped". The order will be marked as shipped and moved to the "shipped" order view. No label will be produced.

NOTE: Transparency Codes are not supported for shipments processed through Veeqo.
