As of September 25th 2025, sellers must maintain a 90% or higher on-time delivery rate (OTDR) on orders placed on Amazon without promise extensions for their seller-fulfilled orders. To find out more about the OTDR policy please visit Seller Central for more information.
Promise extensions may be added to the original delivery date by Amazon to account for factors like weather, transportation issues, or repeated late deliveries. For more information, check out the Seller Central guide here.
Protecting Your Account Health with Veeqo
You can protect your account health by shipping with Veeqo. Your OTDR will not be impacted by late deliveries if:
The order delivered late was assigned to a Shipping Template with Shipping Settings Automation (SSA) enabled*
Your account has Automated Handling Time (AHT) enabled
You purchased an “OTDR Protected” shipping label on Veeqo to fulfil this order.
NOTE: Some ship methods, such as Free Economy, are exempt and do not receive OTDR protection. Please consult Seller Central for more information.
What Labels are Protected
All Amazon orders, including Seller Fulfilled Prime (SFP) are eligible for A-Z protection. Labels for Amazon orders will all show as either OTDR Protected or Late Delivery Risk to help you know what labels come with what protections. When an order is shown as a Late Delivery Risk, it means Amazon does not have a high level of confidence that this service will meet its promised delivery date, and so the label is not protected.
To receive OTDR protection, look for the green shield with "OTDR Protected". These labels are covered if the delivery is late.
IMPORTANT: We allow the selection of shipping methods for Amazon orders that don’t meet Amazon’s delivery promise for all carriers except Amazon Shipping.
NOTE: The "Claims Protected" badge refers to A-Z protection, and is not the same as the "OTDR Protection" badge. Make sure you are selecting a label that has "OTDR Protection" to protect your account health.
