Warehouse Transfers Overview

Use this guide to create internal transfers to move stock between your locations in Veeqo

If you have more than one physical location you can easily transfer stock between them in Veeqo. If you want to create additional locations in Veeqo check out this guide.

How to Create a Stock Transfer

  1. Go to Warehouse.

  2. Select Warehouse Transfers.

  3. Click "+ New Transfer".

  4. Enter your "from" location and your "to" location. Optional: here, you can also add a note which will display in the stock history for each product.

  5. Search for the products you would like to transfer by either Product Title or SKU.

  6. Enter the quantity of the items you would like to transfer.

  7. Select the Status of your transfer. You can skip any of the statuses at any point in the transfer. (Check out the table below for more information about each status).

  8. Click "Create".

  9. Update your transfer at each step to record a full history of stock movement.

Warehouse Transfer Statuses

Status

Description

Draft

  • The transfer will be saved but no stock will be adjusted

  • You can edit the transfer at a later date

Ready to Send

  • Stock level will be unavailable at the "From" location

  • The transfer can no longer be edited

  • You can print the Booking Out document to be used for picking/packing

In Transit

  • Stock level will be be unavailable at the "From" location

  • On hand stock quantity will be reduced

  • The transfer cannot be edited

  • You can print the Booking Out document to be used for picking/packing

  • Stock will show as "incoming" at the "To" location

Ready to Receive

  • Stock level will be be unavailable at the "From" location

  • On hand stock quantity will be reduced

  • Stock will show as "incoming" at the "To" location

  • The transfer cannot be edited

  • You can print the Booking In document to be used for receiving the stock

Completed

  • Available and on hand stock levels are decreased at the "From" location and increased at the "To" location

  • You can print the Booking In document for future reference

When viewing the Product Summary of an item that is being transferred you can see the amount of stock that is transferred.

Viewing Your Warehouse Transfers

To view your warehouse transfers, you can:

  1. Go to Warehouse.

  2. Click Warehouse Transfers.

  3. Navigate to the appropriate status or location n the left side of the screen. You can view any transfers in each status.

  4. For transfers that are in draft, you can edit all information. Other statuses can only be updated to move the transfer into another step in the process.
