When an Amazon order is cancelled in Veeqo the order on the store will be updated with the "Cancelled" status. However, refunding of the customers payment should be performed directly on your Amazon store as the payment isn't automatically refunded.
Once the order is cancelled in Veeqo Amazon will message your customers to let them know the order is cancelled.
Currently the cancellation reason isn't added to Amazon when an order is cancelled in Veeqo, for companies where adding a cancelation is important to their business should cancel orders directly on their Amazon Seller account.
1. From the Orders screen click onto a specific product to bring up the Order Summary, then press Cancel Order to begin the cancellation process
2. Select the settings that you'd like to apply to this order:
- Restock Items - With this ticked any stock allocations attached to the order will be put back into the Veeqo inventory. Veeqo will automatically update all your stores with the latest stock figures for these items
- Cancel Reason - add any notes for the reason why this order was cancelled for future reference. This won't be pushed up to your stores order automatically.
TIP! If only part of the order is being cancelled you'll need to cancel and restock all the items first then create a new manual order for the customer with the remaining items that the customer has purchased. Make sure to switch off the auto-cancellation email from your Wordpress store if this is still turned on, otherwise the customer will be sent a message notifying them that the entire order has been cancelled. You'll also need to process a partial refund of the payment using your payment gateway. Some users like to add an internal note with the cancelled order number included within. This helps keep track of refunded/cancelled orders.
