Information on included insurance values on Carrier services.

This guide applies to Sellers based in the United States only.

Below is the list of Veeqo’s carrier services, this table shows what insurance is included with each service as well as the maximum allowed value of a package for that service.

USPS

For USPS Ground Advantage and Express Mail USPS automatically provides $100 of included insurance at no additional charge. For Priority Mail, USPS automatically provides $50 of included insurance at no additional charge.

Claims within this amount should be made directly via USPS. You can also purchase to $5,000 additional insurance through our insurance partner U-PIC. Claims where the declared value is higher than the included amount should be made via U-PIC.


UPS

UPS provides up to $100 included insurance at no additional charge. Additional insurance can be purchased up to $999 for domestic services and $50,000 per package or $100,000 per pallet for international services.


FedEx

The FedEx maximum liability for loss, damage, delay, or any other claim with regard to any US Express or US Ground shipment is limited to US $100 if no value is declared.

If the value of your shipment exceeds US $100, you can declare a value of up to US $50,000 and pay an additional fee. These services charge an additional US $3.90 for declared value between $100.01 and $300; declared value in excess of US $300 costs $1.30 per $100 of coverage. For shipments valued in excess of US $100.00, the minimum charge is US$3.90.

There are restrictions to the maximum declared value limits based on shipment destination and/or contents, and Sellers should refer to the most current FedEx Service guide.

DHL

DHL's maximum liability for loss or damage of international air shipments is limited to approximately $28.65 per kg under international treaty. DHL has no liability for damage or loss caused by delays.

For additional coverage for shipment loss or damage, you can declare a higher value and pay an additional fee for Shipment Value Protection up to $50,000.

For shipments originating in the US and US Territories, Shipment Value Protection will be provided at a cost of $1.00 per $100.00 of coverage, with a minimum charge of $3.00. Shipment Value Protection does not cover indirect loss or damage, or loss or damage caused by delays.
